Hiroshige Suite
Our largest accommodation — a private 800-square-foot suite with its own garden entrance, a generous sitting room, and breakfast brought to you in the quiet of your own space.
禅 · A Japanese garden by the sea
A two-room bed & breakfast wrapped around a true Japanese garden in Manzanita, on Oregon's North Coast — with an outdoor soaking bath, an organic garden breakfast, and seven miles of open beach at the gate.
ようこそ · Welcome
Halfway down Manzanita's seven-mile beach, between Cannon Beach and the Nehalem jetty, a 1981 house was quietly restored into something rare on this coast — a retreat with the spirit of a Japanese inn.
Stone lanterns and moss, shoji screens and a cedar bath open to the sky; mornings of farm eggs and coast air; the ocean three hundred yards off and the whole headland of Neahkahnie rising to the south. Two rooms only, so the quiet stays quiet.
客室 · The Rooms
Our largest accommodation — a private 800-square-foot suite with its own garden entrance, a generous sitting room, and breakfast brought to you in the quiet of your own space.
An intimate, light-filled room beside the Bistro, where morning opens over Nehalem Bay State Park and breakfast is served just steps from your door.
湯 · The Zen Bath
An outdoor cedar bath for two, set in the garden and filled with fresh hot water for every soak. Kimonos and towels are laid out; the rest is up to the steam and the sound of the surf.
朝食 · The Breakfast
Fresh farm eggs and organic produce, cooked to the season and served privately in your room or on the patio. Omnivore, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free — however you eat, simply tell us.
海岸 · The Coast
The sea fog lifts —
a stone lantern, a cup of tea,
the day in no hurry.
